About Theresa Pfeifer

Born in Southern California, Theresa has lived in Northern Virginia since she was 11. She started singing with her twin sister, Clare, at a very young age and started guitar lessons in the second grade. When she moved to Virginia, she stopped playing guitar but became heavily involved in choirs, continuing to sing in choirs through college and beyond. She picked guitar back up in high school, this time quickly adding bass guitar to the mix. Soon bass guitar became her primary instrument, even though she majored in voice at Northern Virginia Community College and then at George Mason University.

Theresa has been active in music most of her life, through school ensembles, choirs, musical theatre, and church. However, she did not start playing in bands until 2022, when she subbed on bass for Tim Campbell and the Tropical Attitudes band that summer. By January 2023, she had become a full-time member and has also subbed for multiple other bands since.

A late bloomer in songwriting, Theresa finished writing her first song in 2023. She now has a five-song EP of original songs available on Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and other major streaming platforms.

Theresa is primarily a vocalist and a bass guitarist, but she also plays guitar (primarily rhythm and acoustic) and has played and taught basic piano.
